Let’s get some shoes!

Shoes… where do I start with them… Im more conventional over style when it comes to shoes. There is nothing worse than clopping around in high heels all day and then taking your shoes off at the end of the day and your feet pulsate so much that you cannot feel them for the next 3 days, case and point October 2008 when I was a bridesmaid at my cousins wedding, when the next day my feet were blue and swollen from the heels….. they were gorgeous shoes though!

I wear flats every day to work, black soft leather pointed toe flats, or if its cold knee high flat boots (in round or pointed toe) on weekends I almost live in thongs or Dunlop Volleys (white and pink ones of course)… so conducting a google search the other day on “Shoes” returned some entertaining image results… which made me think – who on earth would buy some of the god awful shoes that are on the market at the moment, a few extreme cases are the below:

Convertible Heels (Black) – ok, what seems like a good idea in your head, isnt necessarily always a good idea when put into practice. A convertible shoe…. a flat with a snap out heel, to take you from day to night, SEEMS like a good idea, but if they were going to be made… make them look classy and elegant, not with a bright pink racing stripe down them, please! Id rather wear tissue boxes on my feet.

Car Shoes (Blue) – cute, so so cute… but really, who would EVER wear these? The only person I could even remotely imagine wearing these is Paris Hilton. Big attention seeking shoes… I just dont imagine how this colour, let alone design could actually match with any outfit?

Baby’s First Heels (Leopard Print) – do I even need to comment on these? Baby’s first heels? are you absolutley serious? Please….

The ones that arent mentioned – REALLY dont need mentioning.

Below is as weird as my shoe collection would get, the Marc Jacobs mouse shoe…. theyre so cute, Id probably never buy or wear them, but they are so cute!
